Idriss Stelley b-earthday celebration rocked SF Candlestick Park today !

(Idriss was shot 48 times by 9 SFPD Officers in 6-12-01
Idriss Stelley Foundation usually host a big social justice event in front of SF City Hall on his Birthday, but this year we decide to host a HEALING event in the spirit of Unity & Solidarity among trusted Freedom Fighters in the trenches everyday.... away from turf wars within the police accountability movement, bruised egos and never ending lashing outs... We hope we set the tone for the future, reminding us all that "behind very haters often lays unbearave pain" (Walt Whiman). It is never too late to fotgive past hurdles and re-embrace unity ! We are ALL REDEEMABLE !


we feasted on adobo chicken thrown on the grill, corn, salad, 2 kinds of melons, chips spaguetti, a big sheetcake prepared by the Chinese Bakery on Sam Bruno Avenue readid "Happy B-Day Idriss, ONE LOVE ! " and refreshments.
One participant regretted the absence of wine or beer, but soneone had brought cannabis and several people sent to toke discreetly at a respectable distance LOL...
we played with a beach ball, entered a hoolahoop contest, and danced a little. The kids made crowns out of weeds.
