Did you know that every single voter
in the United States of America should
be concerned about the U.S. Senate
races in every state, not just their own,
because all 100 United States Senators
are busy making laws that you will have
to live with and follow, or risk going to
prison or losing your property or job!

Opening Statement:
Why are you running for the U.S. Senate
and what qualifies you for the position?
1. The world continues to boil with troubles and challenges for the United States.
Current Secretary of State Clinton will be retiring this year.
What are the foreign policy objectives you would strive for?
2. The U.S. economic recovery has lost momentum recently,
with calls from the International Monetary Fund and more recently
Fed Chairman Bernanke for Congress to be careful of the fast approaching
‘fiscal cliff’.
How will you approach the proposed spending cuts
and tax hikes set to take effect at the beginning of 2013?
3. We are drawing down our presence in Afghanistan with a 2014 date proposed.
What have been our accomplishments?
Are they sustainable?
Was it worth it?
4. The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act
this summer.
Is this good for Vermonters?
Please explain.
5. Please comment on campaign financing in general,
and the ‘Citizen’s United’ decision specifically.
Is Democracy in jeopardy?
6. Is the Federal Government’s role during these recessionary times
to provide stimulus?
Or, should it get out of the way and let business work?
What would you do to support your beliefs?
7. Vermont has experienced drastic weather impacts recently and now,
a large part of the country is experiencing the worst drought in 50 years.
Is climate change real?
What approaches to the ‘natural disaster’s’ the country
is experiencing would you work towards?
Closing comments
We look forward to your participation.
