The California Nurses Association (CNA) says the Stockton area has 24.6 percent of adults uninsured, and 16 percent of adults unable to see a doctor due to cost. That's where they were last week providing free health care screenings and helping out at a Town Hall about Medicare for All (also called Single Payer healthcare). A spokesperson from the nurses union said the “healthcare crisis continues to worsen and genuine, comprehensive reform is still needed.”

Even with the recent Supreme Court ruling having upheld most of the Obama healthcare reform plan, "our healthcare crisis will be far from over, and we will still need real reform,” said Zenei Cortez, co-president of the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United.

Today the bus stopped in San Jose. Some of the other of 19 stops were mentioned in a tune by the Raging Grannies who sang to greet nurses arriving on the large red bus.
