The following is a poem Ive written about one of the most famous fictional superheros of all time. The purpose for this poem is for people to get a more an in depth detailed closer look into his very deep dark demeanor. Its purpose is to also give people the courage in light of the recent tragedy, in Aurora, Colorado to be unafraid of movies no matter the content.
I dedicate my following poem titled A Dark Knight's Light to the fallen victims of the massacre at the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado that occurred on July 20, 2012. Your pain is shared, and your lives will always be remembered by those who knew and loved you the most. May your spirits rest in a place where peace is your eternal shelter.
Born into darkness, driven by light
To strike terror into the hearts of evil doers,
not movie goers who flock to me at night
For all who've fallen, never give up the fight
of the will, want, and the right to have me in your sight
I am depicted as fiction, but I symbolize your heroism
The courage to heal, feel, and deal with chaos and terrorism
I dress and fight in darkness with a purpose.......to save and........
share your life into.............. the light
